On 09 July 2009 OJSC Far East Telecom (РТС: ESPK, MICEX: DLSV, ADR USA: FEEOY, Frankfurt Stock Exchange and Berlin Stock Exchange: D7A) informed about early termination of powers of Company Chief Executive Officer Anton Yurievich Kolpakov due to his appointment to the position of OJSC Rostelecom Chief Executive Officer.

On June 10, 2009 the Company’s Board of Directors decided to early terminate powers of Anton Kolpakov, OJSC Far East Telecom Chief Executive Officer.

Anton Kolpakov took the office of OJSC Far East Telecom’s Chief Executive Officer from May 2007. Under his guidance the Company strengthened its leading position on telecommunications market of the Far East and reached one of the highest business performance levels among interregional companies in Svyazinvest holding. In particular, the Company succeeded in new broadband access based service promotion.

Anton Kolpakov thanked Far East Telecom team for the effective and fruitful work and wished Company further success in telecommunications industry development in the Far East.
