OREANDA-NEWS. July 08, 2009. The dynamics of UkrSibbank development puts forward a demand for reliable support on the part of information technologies and high quality of IT services supply. The project included management processes design and set up, configuration database structure work out, and process automation system implementation, reported the press-centre of UkrSibbank.

BMS Consulting (Kyiv, Ukraine) is about to finish IT management process set up in UkrSibbank. The partner of the project is IT Expert company (Moscow, Russia).

The dynamics of UkrSibbank development puts forward a demand for reliable support on the part of information technologies and high quality of IT services supply. The project included management processes design and set up, configuration database structure work out, and process automation system implementation.

The project was launched in 2008 and at its first stage implementation program for IT management processes was worked out. BMS Consulting was engaged in setting up the processes of handling client applications and incidents, and worked on the implementation of IT services automation facilities based on HP ServiceDesk 4.5 solution.

At the following stages of the project that were conducted by BMS Consulting and IT Expert consultants, configuration and change management processes as well as troubleshooting process were implemented. Consultants took active part in the launch of the system, monitoring process operation and assisting managers in process management at initial stages.

This resulted in UkrSibbank getting not only the required documentation and automation system but a trained team of specialists and managers ready to provide relevant operation, management and further development of the processes.

At the final stage of the project Configuration Management Database contained about 400 configuration items incorporating data room equipment, data storage and transfer network equipment, IT systems and their components (partially), as well as a number of other units.

“The implementation of the ITSM process set-up project proved to bring actual practical results. The implementation of automation system allowed not simply to keep record of client appeals or incidents but to create a single in-house interaction environment. The usage of CMDB not simply as a database to record КЕ but in liaison with change management processes enabled the set up of a number of IT infrastructure service procedures. The formalized processes and automation system brought not only new terminology but contributed to the origination of process thinking in IT. The project proved to provide a strong basis for further processes development (and IT in general) and set up of other important processes, namely SLM”, stressed Vitaliy Shestopal, Head of Information Services Quality Department of UkrSibbank BNP Paribas Group.
