OREANDA-NEWS. July 8, 2009. The pupil of the children’s and youth sports school of Kursk Nuclear Power Plant Dmitry Zherebchenko has won gold medal at 25th Universiade Belgrade 2009 as part of the Russian team.

In the final Russia (Dmitry Zherebchenko, Artur Akhmatkhuzin, Igor Gridnyov and Dmitry Rigin) beat France 45:29: Dmitry routed his rival 5:0. 

It is the third big victory of Zherebchenko this year. In Apr he won bronze at the 2009 Cadet and Junior World Championships in Belfast and in May — gold medal at the European Championship in Debrecen.
