OREANDA-NEWS. On 08 July 2009 was announced, that Turkish company "Polimex" is to build a techno park in Ashgabat - a modern science and technology center, which will bring together research institutions, industrial facilities, business centers, exhibition halls, educational institutions.

Head of the Turkish company Erol Tabandzha presented the project of a scientific campus to President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on July 2. The project was approved by the head of state.

According to an official report, the techno park will be built with a view to "creating the conditions for good creative work on specific areas, education of scholars and professionals of a new generation."

During the meeting Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov requested the management of foreign companies to "make the more use of innovative ideas and technologies in their projects to allow for the most daring, innovative architectural and engineering solutions."

The president also approved the master plan of the Olympic Village and the project of reconstruction of the capital's Nisa hotel proposed by Turkish partners.
