OREANDA-NEWS. On 07 July 2009 was announced, that large-tonnage production has been shipped from Petrozavodskmash factory: high pressure drum and chip screen. High pressure drums for thermal power stations is a new type of production for the enterprize, which has launched its development at the end of the last year. A contract with Podolsk machine-building factory has been concluded for delivery of 15 devices intended for exhaust-heat boiler of thermal power stations. On the first of July the new high pressure drum has been sent to the city of St.-Petersburg.

Special demands based on norms of power engineering industry are made to production of such equipment, therefore preparation of lots of normative documentation, certification of technology, including carrying out of many tests was required.

Each of 15 ordered devices has its own dimensions and design features. The largest drum that weighs 30 tons has been made for Croatia in the middle of April this year. Its length has made 11 meters, diameter — 2,4 meters, and thickness — 50 millimeters. Equipment of the same dimensions will be made for Pravoberezhnaya thermal power station (St.-Petersburg). Besides, devices will be delivered to Sochi, Kaliningrad, Kursk thermal power stations, etc.

Title of Chip Screen CЩ 900-1 specifies its productivity: 900 cubic metres per hour in bulk measurement. The unit is intended for selection od chips suitable for cellulose production. The glader weighing 13 tons works in suspended position, making circular rocking (spindled movement).

This screen is the largest of produced at the factory and is unique, as in Russia it is produced only by Petrozavodskmash. This time the equipment has been made for Kotlas wood-working enterprise.
