OREANDA-NEWS. On 07 July 2009 was announced, that Sevmash received the diploma in nomination "The best stand composition" and a medal at the IV International Maritime Defense Exhibition.

Sevmash traditionally took part in a large industrial exhibition, which is one of the leaders in the field of shipbuilding, marine and shipbuilding arms. This year it was held in St. Petersburg in the exhibition complex "Lenexpo" from 24 till 28 of June. For the first time the exhibition stand of the enterprise was represented in the central pavilion at the exposition of JSC "Joint Shipbuilding Corporation".

Visitors of different ages were interested in exhibited models of military and civilian products of Sevmash. On visiting the exhibition, they had an opportunity to see warships in berth and an unforgettable show - demonstration flights of the world-famous flight teams, а as well as sailing regatta. In those days the delegation from Sevmash visited corvette "Stereguschy", frigate "Yaroslav Mudry", landing ship hovercraft "Mordoviya".

Director General of Sevmash N. Kalistratov, chief engineer Ye. Popov held at the Salon a number of negotiations and meetings, including those with foreign delegations to specify possible directions of future cooperation.

Evaluation commission awarded to Sevmash delegation commemorative medal and a diploma in the nomination "The best stand composition", signed by the Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, chairman of the organizing committee, S.Ivanov. Of course this award is a service of specialists under leadership of chief technologist A.Popov and head of information and advertisement A. Kholodov, who prepared the exposition and worked all these days in St. Petersburg.

Next Naval Exhibition is held in 2011.
