OREANDA-NEWS. On 07 July 2009 was announced, that Moscow Mayor first deputies, Vladimir Resin and Pyotr Biryukov, as well as Vladimir Zotov, prefect of Moscow’s southeastern administrative district, attended a grand opening ceremony of the 9th festival of flowerbeds and landscape architecture in Vlakhernskoe-Kuzminki Mansion on July 4.

Flower Gardens of Moscow contains the unique floristic designs from 12 townships included in the southeastern district. The compositions are devoted to the Russian capital and youth.

The motto of the 2009 festival is “The Future is Youth’s”.

Flower Gardens of Moscow is scheduled to run till September 14.

It will be summed up on the eve of Moscow’s Day, September 5, and the winners will be awarded with special prizes established by Mr Zotov.
