OREANDA-NEWS. On 07 July 2009 was announced, that construction of new garages on the spare sites to be partially invested by their future users will provide eastern Moscow with additional 800 parking spaces.

According to the prefecture of Moscow’s eastern administrative district, its prefect, Nikolay Evtikhiev, outlined four sites where so-called Popular Garages would be developed while he was examining a section of the fourth ring road under construction on July 1.

Two of the selected sites are located on Garazhnaya Street, one more – on Okruzhnoy Proezd and the last one – on 8th Sokolinoy Gory Street.

The work aimed at building Popular Garages in eastern Moscow has been already started on 14 sites. Another 54 sites intended for parking facilities are being examined.
