OREANDA-NEWS. On July 06, 2009 Ukraina channel took the third position in the national rating in Q2 2009 with the share of 8.89% and rating of - 1.26%, reported the press-centre of  SCM.

In terms of the performance in 1H (share - 8.23%, rating - 1.30%) and June (share - 8.25%, rating - 1.09%) 2009, the channel ranks 4th.

The top list of programmes was led by Happy Birthday, Alla, an anniversary concert of the Russian singer Alla Pugachyova, with the share of 26.08% and rating of 9.88%. The most successful programs in 1H 2009 include also the broadcasts of the Champion's League and UEFA Cup games, the talk-show SHUSTER Live on 23 January with participation of Yuliya Tymoshenko (share - 23.27%, rating - 7.08%), as well as news programs Sobytiya and Sobytiya Nedyeli.

The programmes with the highest viewing share in June included broadcasts of World Championship 2010 qualification games Croatia – Ukraine (share - 21.83%, rating - 7.17%) and Ukraine – Kazakhstan (share - 16.33%, rating - 5.91%) as well as final series of the action movie Zveroboy (The Deerslayer) (rating 4.83%, share - 12.14%).

Some original projects have generated a good audience share growth year on year. The average share of the news programme Sobytiya went by 63% to 9.72%. The share of the social and journalistic project Kriticheskaya Tochka (The Critical Point) soared by 53% (share - 8.13%). The performance indicators of MagaHit po Ponedelnikam (Monday Megahit) (share 7.75%) and Nashe Kino (Our Movies) on Tuesdays (share 7.33%) jumped 25% thanks to films Dante's Peak, True Lies and Russian movies Realniy Papa (The Actual Dad) and Lubov-Morkov (Lovie-Dovie). Series slots broadcast on weekdays at 18:10 and 20:20 are in standing demand. A melodrama series Odnazhdy Budet Lubov (Love Will Come One Day) shows a stable audience growth: the viewing share as of 1 July has hit the record-braking figure - 16.43%.
