Russia and Belorussia Will Develop Orbital Constellation Together
OREANDA-NEWS. July 6, 2009. Russia palns to launch Belorussian spacecraft in early 2010, Anatoly Perminov, Head of the Russian Federal Space Agency, states.
"We develop joint orbital meteorological and remote sensing constellation. Launch of a Belorussian satellite will most likely occur in early 2010", Anatoly Perminov told Interfax-AVN.
He also emphasized that it would be joint Russian-Belorussian constellation. "Ground infrastructure of the constellation will provide services for the users in both countries".
In late 2010, one more launch aimed at enlarging Russian-Belorussian remore sensing constellation, is planned, Perminov states.
