OREANDA-NEWS. On July 02, 2009 Following the signing of documents between Kazakhstan and Spain in Astana, Kazakhstan’s Finance Minister Bolat Zhamishev pointed to the vast potential of cooperation between the two nations, reported the Official website government.kz. 

“As of today, the trade turnover stands at Euro 750 million. The Spanish side is interested in implementing investment projects, notably in the realm of transport. Talgo railway cars have been successfully operated in Kazakhstan. Now the sides have agreed to renew the agreement on maintenance of the trains”, the Minister said.

“The Kazakh side is interested in participation of Spanish business and capital in our economy, notably through investment projects. We have just signed a Double Tax Treaty. The document will facilitate economic ties between the two nations”, the Minister said.
