OREANDA-NEWS. July 03, 2009. LLS “BTA Bank” successfully performed its obligations in respect to the first payment of the principal amount of debt to the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank, reported the press-centre of BTA Bank.

The 5-year Loan granted by the development bank in 2008 is the largest loan drawn by LLS “BTA Bank” for the purposes of SME lending.

The repayment is the next one in a series of payments in respect to the largest obligations of the Bank. In June, 2009 LLS “BTA Bank” substantially reduced its indebtedness to the Bank of Russia by fully repaying the funds granted under the programme of the Bank of Russia aimed at lending under surety, as well as successfully performed its obligations in respect to payment of coupon to holders of eurobonds Slavinvest Finance S.A., LPN over the 5th coupon period.
