Air Moldova Changes Airport of Destination in St-Petersburg
OREANDA-NEWS. July 03, 2009. "Air Moldova" airline changes the airport of destination in St-Petersburg. Starting from August, 1st, 2009, flights on the destination Chisinau-St-Petersburg are going to be operated to "Pulkovo-2" terminal witch serves international flights, and are at the moment one of the largest international airport terminals in Russia, reported the press-centre of Air Moldova.
The transition from the terminal "Pulkovo-1" in "Pulkovo-2" will allow passengers to provide more convenient transition to the destinations of the airlines engaged in international flights from the airport "Pulkovo-2".
"Pulkovo-2" consists of the "Departures" and "Arrivals" sectors connected by a gallery. The "Departures" and "Arrivals" sectors are equipped for maximum traveler comfort, offering a number of restaurants, bars, flower and gift shops, an art gallery, a recreation area, a bar, and Duty Free shops and many other facilities.
"Pulkovo-2" is equipped with a VIP lounge and two executive lounges, offering phone and fax services, newspapers.
The terminal has a comfortable area reserved for transit passengers waiting for connecting flights, where travelers can stay in order to avoid repeat customs clearance and passport control procedures.
