OREANDA-NEWS. Sorainen Tax team specialists have prepared new Latvian Tax Newsflash dedicated to new law amendments that will come into force as of 1 July 2009, reported the press-centre of Sorainen.

Amendments affect laws regarding taxes and fees (a new SRS inspection form implemented), excise tax (rate to alcoholic drinks and petroleum products changed), untaxed minimum (amount decreased from EUR 128 to EUR 50), corporate income tax (changes affect allowance to capitalization of debts of banks), lottery and gambling tax, natural resources tax and customs, where several essential amendments regarding implementation of compulsory number for customs formalities, electronic declaration by using EDS and new summary declarations for import and export of goods passed. Therefore amendments affect every entrepreneur in the country, as well as all employers and employees.
