On 03 July 2009 was announced, that OJSC Oil and Gas Company "RussNeft" continues to develop its own net of gas filling stations in the Orenburg Region as part of the merchandising efficiency upgrading and consolidation of the position of the Holding Company in the domestic market of oil products. OAO “Orenburgnefteprodukt” – the subsidiary enterprise of the Company – is one of the leading enterprises refining oil products in the Orenburg Region.

The basic points of the Company strategy in this direction are the increase in volume of oil products sales, improvement of the provided services, construction of new and reconstruction of acting refueling complexes.

In 2008 ОАО "Orenburgnefteprodukt" has sold more than 650 thousand tons of oil products that are by 14, 2% exceeds the indexes of business plan. Moreover, the volume of gross distribution made 425 899 tons; through its own net of gas filling stations there were sold 224 894 tons. Following the results of 2008 the net profit of the enterprise made 147,684 million Rubles that is by 10% more than in 2007.

In 2008 "Russneft" invested 148 million Rubles in programs on capital construction/ reconstruction of gas filling stations and oil depots in the Orenburg Region. Within the scope of this work, ОАО "Orenburgnefteprodukt" has reconstructed 6 gas filling stations and oil depots. Besides, in 5 gas filling stations there were set up measuring systems "Struna" and in the railroad overpasses there were installed winches; in Kuvandyk and Buguruslan oil depots there were constructed and put into operation perimeter security alarm systems; there were also upgraded some projects. In Shildinskaya oil depot there was brought into production measurement system. In 2008 there was started project on reconstruction of 5 gas filling stations, construction of secondary economic entities in the oil depots and gas filling stations of ОАО "Orenburgnefteprodukt". In addition to, in 2008 there was performed capital repair and partial repair in 15 gas filling stations and 12 oil depots.

In 2009 “RussNeft” is going to invest heavily in construction and reconstruction of the units of "Orenburgnefteprodukt", significant funds will be given to the commissioning of 4 gas filling stations, which have been reconstructed in 2008; to the installation of machines controlling vapor concentration of oil products in the air; to the traffic signalization in the Orenburg oil depot. There was also planned to develop reconstruction projects of 3 gas filling stations, 8 projects on installation of machines controlling vapor concentration of oil products in the air of storage plants in the oil depots of ОАО "Orenburgnefteprodukt", as well as capital repair and improvement of the territory of gas filling stations and oil depots.
