OREANDA-NEWS. As per directive of the European Parliament and Council, the cost of services used in the EEA (European Economic Area) countries is lowered for EMT contractual customers starting from the 1st of July 2009. Prices for calls, text messages and data services are heavily cut – e.g. cost for text messages is reduced approximately by half and depending on the country, cost for mobile Internet is lowered up to four times, reported the press-centre of EMT.

All other services used in these countries are priced as per EMT roaming price list.

The following countries are part of the EEA: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Cyprus, Denmark, Finland, France, Gibraltar, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Vatican, French Guiana, Martigues, Guadeloupe and Reunion islands, Canaries, Azores and Madeira islands.

Services used in other countries are priced as per EMT roaming price list.

Due to change in VAT rate in Estonia, roaming prices including VAT differ from those sent a month before.
