OREANDA-NEWS. July 1, 2009. The Minsk Oblast (Belarus) delegation led by Oblast’s vice governor Valery Skakun is visiting Azerbaijan currently.

Nilokay Patskevich, the Byelorussian ambassador to Azerbaijan, says that the delegation composing representatives of three large enterprises of Belarus arrived in Azerbaijan for holding of concrete meetings.

“The delegates has visited Sheki and following the trip it was achieved an arrangement on organization of relationships between  Sheki and one of the regions of Belarus,” the ambassador said.

Besides, the sides conducted negotiations about supplies of Azerbaijani crop output to Belarus.

According to Patskevich, in 2008 over 80 mutual visits of delegations between Azerbaijan and Belarus were arranged through the Byelorussian Embassy in Azerbaijan.
