OREANDA-NEWS. On 30 June 2009 was announced, that “IES-Holding” energy enterprises have successfully finished the autumn-winter period of 2008-2009, having provided maximum reliability of energy supply in all 16 regions of company activity. The First Vice-president - Operational Director of IES Holding Andrey Shishkin informed journalists about it at the interregional selective press-conference on May 20. More than 200 journalists from Moscow and 16 subjects of RF, where IES companies work, took part in the press-conference.

In the autumn-winter period IES divisions (Division “Generation of the Urals”, Division “Generation of the Volga”, “Generation of Centre”) provided reliable and secure equipment operation, regular electric and heat supply of consumers. There were no cases of defrosting of any main, quarterly or internal heat supply systems of consumers, the company provided reliable fuel supply of all enterprises. On the whole, in Holding the number of industrial accidents reduced by 10% in comparison with the previous analogous period, including the reduction of incidents caused by the staff mistakes by 9%.

 “I can state that arrangements on preparation of IES-Holding energy objects for the autuimn-winter period of 2008-2009 provided maximum reliability and efficiency of energy supply in all 16 regions of company activity during last winter”, Andrey Shishkin noted.

During the autumn-winter period of 2008-2009 generating stations of IES-Holding produced 40,883.73 million K.W.H. (-6.2% in comparison with the analogous period of recent years). Heat enegry drawing from collectors of generating stations was 85188.14 thousand gigacalorie (-7.2% in comparison with the analogous period of recent years).

IES-Holding energy companies have already started preparation for the next autumn-winter period. In the year 2009 the volume of planned costs for the repairing campaign in IES generating companies will be 10,142 million RUR. The company plans to repair the turbosets with total power of 3,980 megawatt, boilers with total capacity of 23,518 tonnes/hour, hot-water boilers with total power of 1,000 gigacalorie/hour.

 “IES-Holding is responsible for regular heat and hot water supply of more than 10 million consumers during the whole winter period. It is not only technical, but, first of all, social responsibility. We understand the size of this responsibility that’s why the autumn-winter period without any accidents has always been the undoubted privilege for us”, Andrey Shishkin stressed.
