OREANDA-NEWS. June 29, 2009. Belgorod steel-service center launched a new service line, manufacturing light and heavy reinforcing welded mesh in cards, by means of resistance spot welding process. The material used is - pain and ribbed reinforcement up to 4-16 mm in diameter. Consumers are able to order welded mesh sized from 1200 to 2500 mm wide, up to 6000 mm long and up to 1 ton of ultimate weight. The products are manufactured on up-to-date, automated service line with electronic control, capable of setting a gauge between axial and transversal rods of mesh from 50 to 1000 mm.

Since the year 2008, such innovative high-technology equipment successfully operates at Volgograd and Rostov steel-service centers. In the beginning of 2009, St. Petersburg, Krasnodar and Ryazan branches were supplied with the similar service- lines for welded mesh production.
