PricewaterhouseCoopers Audit Approved as Gazprom’s Auditor for 2009
OREANDA-NEWS. June 29, 2009. PricewaterhouseCoopers Audit has been approved by the annual General Shareholders Meeting of Gazprom as the Company’s auditor for 2009. PricewaterhouseCoopers Audit was declared the winner of an open competitive procedure conducted by the Company in accordance with the Federal Law on the Auditing Activity.

The member firms of PricewaterhouseCoopers International provide professional services in many locations worldwide.
PricewaterhouseCoopers came to Russia back in 1913 and resumed its activity on the Russian market in 1989.
Gazprom and PricewaterhouseCoopers Audit started cooperating in 1995. Currently, the services rendered by PricewaterhouseCoopers Audit to Gazprom are as follows:
— Auditing annual accounting statements of Gazprom (parent company) filed pursuant to the requirements of the Russian legislation;
— Auditing annual consolidated accounting statements of Gazprom Group filed in accordance with the requirements of the Russian legislation;
— Auditing consolidated financial statements of Gazprom Group filed under the International Financial Reporting Standards.
