OREANDA-NEWS. On 26 June 2009 was announced, that Norwegians are interested in cooperation with Sevmash.

The delegation of the Norwegian company Aker Solutions have got acquainted with the production capacity of Sevmash. The main purpose of the foreigners visit was the expansion of the cooperation between two companies in the field of engineering and construction for the Russian oil and gas industry in general and for the Shtokman project in particular. In present time, the Norwegian company takes part in the preparation of tender proposals for underwater mining complex, the platform and onshore production facilities for construction of the Shtokman gas condensate field.

Accompanied by Deputy Director General of Sevmash V. Borodin, the guests visited the main shops of the enterprise, the dam where “Prirazlomnaya” platform is being completed. After the excursion, the negotiations were held with the administration of the enterprise.
