OREANDA-NEWS. On 26 June 2009 was announced, that Drilling rig is assembled on “Prirazlomnaya” platform.

The structure of 72 m in height and weighing 280 tons was received in spring according to the purchase package. As planned, the assembly began on May 25 and all works shall be completed by June 28. According to the opinion of S. Rezanov, responsible person for works on the upper deck, specialists and workers meet a schedule. S. Rezanov comments, “The drilling rig consists of five tiers of different sections, then there is a crane block and a crane block shelter. The structure is complex, the height is great, but works are performed on time and with good quality”.

This is a final stage of drilling complex construction. Concerning to the platform itself, the progress is very intensive. 59 equipment units shall be installed on the auxiliary module for a week. “Labor intensity increased greatly” – informs S. Rezanov. – First of all, this concerns installation of structures – equipment, electrical panels, traces. A large scope of work is related to piping and ventilation”.

Every day 1500 workers fulfill these tasks, the work is performed in three shifts. But according to the opinion of workers, the construction process is very interesting, responsible and that is very important, well-paid – additional rises are provided at the platform. 2500 specialists are planned to work at “Prirazlomnaya” in the nearest future.
