OREANDA-NEWS. On 26 June 2009 was announced, that Doctor Web releases another update of its Dr.Web anti-virus scanner included in such products as Dr.Web Security Space, Dr.Web anti-virus 5.0 for Windows, Dr.Web Enterprise Suite, Dr.Web for Windows Servers and in Dr.Web AV-Desk service software supplied to customers by service providers.

The update Dr.Web GUI Scanner provides the following improvements:

an issue that caused a critical system error that occurred if certain models of SCSI-disks were present in the system has been fixed;

other known scanner errors have been fixed;

improved compatibility with Windows 7.

An LSP Hook issue that increased the system loading time has also been corrected.

Dr.Web Security Space, Dr.Web anti-virus 5.0 for Windows, Dr.Web Enterprise Suite, Dr.Web for Windows servers and the Dr.Web anti-virus service software will automatically retrieve the update upon a subsequent updating session.
