OREANDA-NEWS. June 25, 2009. Vologda branch of ROSNO’s North-Western Directorate has concluded an insurance contract covering crops of CJSC Sheksna for 1,516,522 roubles, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

The insurance coverage applies to flax crops with total area of over 700 hectares.

The concluded contract contemplates payment of insurance compensation for the damage inflicted to crops by the following natural phenomena hazardous for agricultural production: drought (atmospheric and soil ones), frost, winterkill and rotting, hail hit (in case of big-size hail), dust and sand storms, earthquakes, avalanches, mudflow, spring tide, and soil overmoistening.
