OREANDA-NEWS. June 25, 2009. Under the Enactment of the Governor of the Leningrad region of June 15, 2009 65-pg Dmitri Yurievich Kolomiets, Director of Foreign Relations of Ust-Luga Company JSC, became a member of the Public Chamber of the Leningrad region. Dmitri Yurievich became one of the ten people appointed by the Governor of the Leningrad region.

The members of the Public Chamber are selected by the results of consultations with non-governmental associations, associations of non-profit-making organizations, scientists of the council of higher educational institutions and creative unions.

The Chamber is consists of twenty citizens appointed by the Governor and the Legislative Assembly of the Leningrad region as well as of ten representatives of all-Russian, interregional and regional non-governmental associations acting on the territory of the Leningrad region.

The major objective of the Public Chamber is ensuring consistency of interests of citizens, non-governmental associations, bodies of state power and local self-government for solving the most significant issues of socio-economic development of the Leningrad region.
