OREANDA-NEWS. On 25 June 2009 was announced, that Ingosstrakh insured works of art from the collection of the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts for the period of international exhibition in the Pierre Gianadda Fund, Martigni, Switzerland. Among insured paintings, there are works by Edgar Degas, Vincent Van Gogh, Paul Gauguin, Pablo Picasso, Gustav Courbet, etc.

The works of art were insured under formula “from nail to nail”, that is for the time of transportation  by any mode of transport, for the time of stay in the vaults,  mounting, demounting, and exhibiting against all risks of damage or destruction. 

Reinsurance of this exhibition was done through the international insurance broker “Kun and Bulov Insurance Broker” in the leading European companies.

Fondation Pierre Gianadda was founded in 1978. Today, this is one of the most famous exhibition centers that consists of large temporary displays, archaeological museum, museum of retro cars, a wonderful park with a botanical garden and picturesque water basins  and an open-air museum with the sculptures by Rodin, Henry Moore, Cesar and others. Fondation Pierre Gianadda and the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts  have long-standing partner relations. Fondation Pierre Gianadda regularly takes part in museum and exhibition projects in Russia.
