OREANDA-NEWS. June 24, 2009. The estimated revenues of the Pension Fund have been overfulfilled in June of 2009. The Minister of Labour and Social Policy of Ukraine Liudmyla Denysova announced during a briefing. According to her, the plan of earnings of the Pension Fund was fulfilled 105%, while as compared to June of last year the received incomes upped by 4.5%. She noted all the pensioners had gained due payments in time and in full amounts.

In addition, Liudmyla Denysova informed that arrears of wages are being reduced. So, for today the debt on economically active state-owned enterprises amounts around UAH 100 million, including current salary.

The Minister explained also the number of unemployed is cut in Ukraine. According to her, 690 of unemployed are in the lists of the employment centres. “It is less than by November 1, 2008, so the situation is getting stabilized,” Liudmyla Denysova underlined. Thereupon, she added anti-crisis measures proposed by the Government started being realized. For instance, according to the Minister, Chernihiv Khimvolokno enterprise received a UAH 2.5 million aid and 2 thousand of employees were saved from layoff.
