OREANDA-NEWS. June 24, 2009. In May 2009, OJSC IC ROSNO paid insurance compensations to the two poultry factories located in the Orenburg Region. Both poultry factories had been protected by the company’s insurance coverage under animal insurance contracts, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

The poultry factory "Uralsky Broiler" lost to poisoning over 10 thousand head of parent stock. ROSNO has paid the poultry factory an insurance compensation of over 3 million roubles under this risk.

At the poultry factory "Orenburgsky Broiler", a malfunctioning software caused disconnection of ventilators. OJSC IC ROSNO has paid over 1 million roubles for the loss of over 28 thousand head of cubs resulted from asphyxia and overheating.
