IDGC of North-West Deputy General Director Became MBA

Olga Makarova, IDGC of North-West Deputy General Director for Economy and Finance, (see the photo) graduated from the Academy of National Economy under the Government of the Russian Federation under the programme ‘MBA top management’, with ‘Management’ major area of study and ‘National economy’ special course.
Olga Makarova received the highest mark for the presentation of her graduation paper ‘Ways and methods of improving the efficiency of management of economic activities at an interregional enterprise during the economic crisis’.
She was also given the qualification of the Master of Business Administration (МВА) in National Economy.
This is the second time she graduated from the university. Prior to this time Olga Makarova had graduated from St.Petersburg University of Economy and Finance as an economist.
At the end of 2008 Olga Makarova, IDGC of North-West Deputy General Director for Economy and Finance, proposed a plan of anti-crisis management; it served as a basis for a cost reduction programme that stipulates reduction of costs paid by the united company by RUR 1 bn.
