IDGC of North-West Started Review of 2010 Repair Projects
OREANDA-NEWS. June 24, 2009. Taking into account that the average level of deterioration of grid equipment is 65% we should not reduce the physical output, said Head of the Maintenance and Repair Department, IDGC of North-West, Oleg Temerov.
IDGC of North-West has started a review of repair projects for 2010 targeted at energy facilities.
The company has already viewed the repair projects of Volgogradenergo and Pskovenergo; these projects were approved with a little criticism by the specialists of the IDGC executive body. On 23 June Karelenergo, a branch of IDGC of North-West, will share its plans for future repairs.
Study of the repair project prepared by Arkhenergo will take place on 25 June in Arkhangelsk. On the same day the company will check the repair and maintenance activities that IDGC Holding OJSC will be doing in the Arkhangelsk Region during the following week.
The process of coordination of the repair projects will continue in St. Petersburg. Kolenergo will present its project on 30 June; Komienergo, on 2 July, and Novgorodenergo, on 7 July.
“Our task is to maintain, at least, the 2009 level of physical output and not to reduce financing of IDGC of North-West repair programme”, said Head of the Maintenance and Repair Department, IDGC of North-West, Oleg Temerov.
According to him, first of all, workers should start repairing deteriorated grid equipment that provides public buildings with energy and equipment that influence reliability of work at electric networks in the winter.
Today the average level of deterioration of IDGC of North-West grid equipment is 65%.
“Taking into account the present deterioration of networks, high speed rates of deterioration, few technical reequipment and reconstruction, we should not reduce the physical output (and, as a result, the cost output) fixed in the repair programme”, said Oleg Temerov.
The performance rate of the repair programmes will undergo changes at the end of 2009, after fixing the tariff for electricity transmission for the next year.
In 2009 IDGC of North-West plans to spend RUR 1.2bn on repair of its grid objects.
