OREANDA-NEWS. On June 23, 2009 PLC "Megabank" has launched a deposit "Mobile money" in foreign currency. Clients can now place their money in USD for 5% per annum, if the desposit amount does not exceed USD 1 thousand, reported the press-centre of Megabank.

If a deposit is more than 1 thousand US dollars, then the annual interest grows to 7%. While placing a deposit in the amount of 1 thousand Euro, the client gets 4% per annum, more than 1 thousand – 6% per annum.

As the bank’s head of deposits operations and individuals’ payments division Mariya Bezunova informed, "Megabank" recently has launched a similar type of the deposit in national currency and noticed that it is very popular, since the client constantly has access to his money. In connection with this a decision to open deposit "Mobile money" in foreign currency was taken.
