OREANDA-NEWS. On 19 June 2009 was announced, that 509 dwelling houses are to undergo a complete overhaul in Moscow this year.

According to first deputy Moscow Mayor, Pyotr Biryukov, it is planned to overhaul not only internal systems of the structures but external utility lines linked to them as well.

The cellars of the homes will be revamped and new heating control systems will be set.

“The work aimed at glazing the balconies and facades would be done next year,” the official added.

The overhaul is to be completed by October 1 to avoid troubles at the start of the heating season in Moscow.
