Bank Respublika Raises Credit Line
OREANDA-NEWS. June 18, 2009. Bank Respublika keeps working with foreign and international financial organisations for different directions.
Bank Respublika Deputy Chairman Aslan Abbasov said within Bank’s participation in the Black Sea Forum organised by Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB) it was held meetings with BSTDB administration.
“Bank Respublika is willing to sign another credit agreement with BSTDB. There is a possibility to raise a new line in the third quarter 2009.” Abbasov emphasized.
According to Abbasov, Bank Respublika cooperates with BSTDB for a long time and already assimilated two loans extended by it. Previous credit lines were spent on trade financing development in Azerbaijan.
Apart from BSTDB, Bank Respublika cooperates closely with such international and foreign financial institutions within various business crediting and trade financing programs as Raiffeisen Bank, EBRD, FMO, Standard Bank Plc. (London), ADB, DEG, IFC, Сommerzbank AG, OFID, and others.
In total, within these programs Bank Respublika was extended credit lines amounting over USD200 million.
