OREANDA-NEWS. June 18, 2009.  An agreement on cooperation between KAMAZ Inc. and OAO State Transport Leasing Company was signed in Naberezhnye Chelny.

Besides the delegation of OAO State Transport Leasing Company (STLC) headed by Director General Victor Klochay, RF Minister of Transport Igor Levitin and RT Prime-Minister Rustam Minnikhanov arrived at KAMAZ to participate in the signing ceremony. It should be noted that Mr. Levitin came on the restyled KAMAZ vehicle, one of those which had earlier been presented in Moscow.

During the visit the guests accompanied by KAMAZ Director General Sergey Kogoghin visited Cummins Kama Joint Venture, Automobile Plant, R&D Center where they saw the exhibited modern automotive equipment of KAMAZ Inc. and get acquainted with the KAMAZ-master sports team.

After the visit to the enterprises of KAMAZ Inc. a working conference took place. Then OAO State Transport Leasing Company and KAMAZ Inc. signed the cooperation agreement.

Under conditions of the financial crisis, such an agreement is of great importance not only for the both parties signing it, but also for the Russian industry and for the whole state motor transport communication system.
