On 19 June 2009 was announced, that under the contract, insurance is provided for property and against interruption in production of Volvo and Renault trucks in Kaluga, as well as for the network of maintenance centers and trading stock.  Insurance is provided in compliance with the General Terms of Insurance of Industrial and Commercial Enterprises (all risks) for one year.

ZAO Volvo Vostok manufactures and services Volvo and Renault trucks. Volvo Vostok was established in 1998 as a division of the Swedish concern Volvo AB. Volvo Vostok is comprised of Volvo Trucks, Volvo Construction Equipment, Volvo Penta, Volvo Parts and Volvo IT. In 2003, they launched the truck manufacturing plant in Zelenograd – ZAO VTS Zelenograd - and leasing company OOO Volvo Finance Service Vostok. In Russia, Volvo Trucks has a large network of 40 authorized service stations, 34 sales offices, two Volvo Truck centers, as well as the training center in Moscow and the Regional Spare Parts Warehouse in the Moscow region. In January 2009, in Kaluga, there was an inauguration of the Volvo plant (100%-owned by Volvo AB) with the production capacity of 15000 trucks per year: 10000 – Volvo and 5000 – Renault.
