OREANDA-NEWS. June 18, 2009. The Government has earmarked UAH 2 billion from the State Mortgage Institution to support a building branch. Yulia Tymoshenko, the Prime Minister of Ukraine, announced to media conference on the outcomes of the sitting of the Government. “We have a resource in UAH 2 billion in the State Mortgage Institution necessary for the building domain,” the Head of Government emphasized.

Yulia Tymoshenko noted within all regions, on the basis of open auctions for lowering the price per square meter, finished accommodation or objects with not less than 70% readiness will be purchased and handed over to the citizens who are on the lists and have a right to get accommodation from the state.

“We will make all the best so that in these hard times to support building branch. UAH 2 billion from the state is rather a huge sum to give impetus to resuming the amounts of construction in building area,” the PM underlined.
