OREANDA-NEWS. June 17, 2009. Acting within the Healthcare National Priority Project VTB Bank continues to participate in the construction of 14 Federal medical high technology centers under state contracts signed between FSUE Technointorg and Rostechnologii State Corporation. In June 2009, VTB granted a RUB 900 million credit line to FSUE Technointorg, reported the press-centre of VTB.

To finance the project VTB set a credit limit of RUB 10 billion for FSUE Technointorg, a general contractor and construction manager of these centers. Earlier, in 2007-2008 the Bank carried out documentary transactions totaling RUB 12.6 billion and credit transactions totaling RUB 6.6 billion.

Federal medical high technology centers are built on a modular basis. These technologies are unique in Russia and considered today the most progressive in the world. In 2008, three medical centers in Penza, Astrakhan and Cheboksary were put into operation.
