OREANDA-NEWS. On 17 June 2009 was announced, that Oranta’s Board had approved the Procedure of indemnification payments in 2009 to the citizens of Ukraine who suffered deprivation from the devaluated monetary savings and the insurance payments carried out before January, 2nd, 1992 to the establishments of the state insurance of the USSR which operated in territory of Ukraine.

Indemnification payments will be carried out to successors of persons who have been insured under contracts of the mixed life insurance, insurance of children, wedding insurance, insurance of children's orphanage establishments, voluntary insurance of additional pension for workers, employees and collective farmers, lifelong insurance, but have died in 2006-2008 and have not obtained compensation of losses from depreciation of monetary savings throughout 2006-2008 and also to successors of such insurers who have died in 2009. Payments will be carried out within the rest indexed insurance payment, but not exceeding UAH 500.

To receive the compensation a person who has the right to receive indemnification, should place the written request with Oranta’s office where the initial contract has been concluded and provide them with the following documents: the insurance certificate, the original of the certificate on death of the insured person or the insurer who has died in 2006-2009, and its copy, authorized person’s own passport or other document which replaces it, and the reference to their state identification number.

The other persons, who have incurred expenses for burial, additionally have to provide the corresponding reference on the specified expenses.
