OREANDA-NEWS. On 17 June 2009 was announced, that “Irkutskenergo” JSC spent more than RUR 200 million for the reconstruction of Thermal Power Station-11 by-product-recovery department. The productivity of the new installation accounted for 600 tons per hour. New German equipment helps to reach the optimal economic figures concerning the water purification. In its turn, it positively influences on the work of the steam generating units and all water-chemical regime of the station.

Equipment installation was finished in December of the passed year. At present, the commissioning works are carried out which are planned to be completed by autumn. Today, there is no counterpart of the given equipment in Russia. Modern equipment and full automation excludes the possibility of the incidents occurrence caused by humans. The department opening will be timed to coincide with 50 years anniversary of Thermal Power Station-11 at the end of 2009. JSC “Irkutskenergo” is the largest in Siberia and one of the major power companies in Russia. It includes heat and hydro electro stations as well as heating grids. The installed capacity of the company’s power station is 12.9 GW, together with hydro-electric power station - more than 9 GW. The State owns more than 40% of JSC “Irkutskenergo” shares. Russian Independent Power Company “EuroSibEnergo” manages the major company’s share holding in the interests of En+ Group.
