OREANDA-NEWS. June 16, 2009. Naftogaz NJSC performs timely payments for the consumed gas. The Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko announced on air of the Svoboda Slova program.

“Through all months of the current year, despite complexity of the task, we haven’t failed to pay on time, not even an hour,” Yulia Tymoshenko stressed.

Yulia Tymoshenko also explained the Gov’t is introducing programs for use of alternative energy sources: “Now we are economizing gas usage… We have scrutinized all the world technologies and plan to cut gas consumption”.

Furthermore, the PM assured the current year Ukraine would have pumped all needed amounts of gas into storages – 27 billion cubic meters, which would enable to stably weather the winter. “This winter and this Christmas we will live without any rows,” Yulia Tymoshenko promised.
