OREANDA-NEWS. June 16, 2009. NLMK has successfully passed the annual certification audit of its Environmental Management System for compliance with requirements of the universally recognized international standard ISO 14001-2004. 

Auditors of TUV CERT (Germany) have examined NLMK’s business units, technical services, and current environmental management documentation and have confirmed that the Company fulfils its environmental protection commitments.  

In accordance with the findings, NLMK’s environmental practices and implemented environmental programs have been positively evaluated.
