OREANDA-NEWS. On 16 June 2009 was announced, that the branch of Ingosstrakh IJSC in Astrakhan on behalf of Ingosstrakh Life won a tender for the public contract with the Ministry of Health of the Astrakhan region for compulsory insurance of medical, pharmaceutical and other workers of the public health bodies of the Astrakhan region, whose work is associated with  life and health risks. 

The contract covers such risks as permanent or temporary disablement caused by an accident or by any other reason. Total number of insured employees of the health care bodies is  4 424. Total insured amount is over RUB 929 ml.
