Brusnytsya Chain Keeps Growing
OREANDA-NEWS. June 11, 2009. Ukrainskiy Retail (part of SCM Group) keeps on developing the Brusnytsya trade chain. The geographic focus remains the same: eastern Ukraine (Donetsk, Lugansk, Kharkov, Dnepropetrovsk and Zaporozh’ye oblasts), reported the press-centre of SCM.
Four stores operating before under Olivye trademark in Dnepropetrovsk joined the chain in April 2009.
Speaking about the launch of four new Brusnytsya stores, Aleksey Hessen, CEO of Ukrainskyi Retail, said that the growth of the trade network is another step towards the chain's long-term development strategy and improvement of Brusnytsya position in the east of Ukraine.
"Geography of our operations will remain unchanged in future: as earlier, we are focused on the east of the country. There are several reasons for that: first of all, we know this market better. Besides, it has shown a low concentration of organized branded trade and, as a consequence, the market has a potential here", said Aleksey Hessen.
