OREANDA-NEWS. On June 10, 2009 PLC "Megabank" visited investment manager of European Fund for Southeast Europe (EFSE) Dirk Felske. At the meeting with the Management Board of the bank he mentioned that the fund EFSE resumes its activity in Ukraine and intends to consider the possibility of financing Megabank for small and mid-size businesses support, reported the press-centre of Megabank.

Reference. The Fund ЕFSE was founded in December 2005 for support of economic development of countries of Southeast Europe. The fund provides long-term loans to small enterprises, as well as for the projects in real estate sphere and agriculture, thru financing the banks.

The number of the founders of the fund incorporates the European Commission, the German Federal Ministry on Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), Austrian Development Agency (АDA) and Swiss Agency on Development and Cooperation (SDC), German development bank KfW, European bank of reconstruction and development, International Financial Corporation and Dutch development bank FMO.
