OREANDA-NEWS  On 11 June was announced, that Russian Agricultural Bank is certified by international payment system VISA to perform acquiring functions. With the development of RAB’s acquiring system, services for acceptance of card payments will become available almost in all trade and service enterprises in rural areas within the territory of the Bank’s presence. RAB has the second largest network of branches and offices in the Russian Federation with 78 regional branches and over 1,430 additional offices located in 79 of the 83 regions of the Russian Federation, including all major agricultural regions.

Acquiring system will allow enterprises to reduce costs, improve mutual payments systems and implement modern banking and payment technologies in the small settlements.

Based on RAB’s extensive regional network, the acquiring system project is unique both by territorial coverage, and by business lines of enterprises involved.
