OREANDA-NEWS. June 10, 2009. IBA took part in the 5th national exhibition of the Republic of Belarus BelarusExpo 2009 in Astana, Kazakhstan.

The event was aimed at promoting Belarus-Kazakhstan political, trade and economic cooperation. At the opening ceremony, Oleg Yakubovich, Deputy Minister of Trade of the Republic of Belarus, Zhanar Aitzhanova, Deputy Minister for Industry and Trade of Kazakhstan, and Vasiliy Gapeev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Kazakhstan welcomed the participants of the exhibition.

More than 120 Belarusian companies engaged in IT, instrument and mechanical engineering, power engineering and petro chemistry, transport and communications, food industry, and science and education showcased at BelarusExpo 2009.

The IBA PaymentSYSTEM that provides a wide range of retail banking services via IBA SMS Banking, IBA Mobile Banking, Internet Banking, IBA ATM, and IBA PaymentTerminal.
During the show, more than 70 delegations showed interest in the IBA products and solutions.

In addition, representatives of IBA, the Belarusian and Kazakh Railways held roundtable discussions on the topic “Cooperation in the transport sector”.

For active participation in the event, IBA was awarded a Diploma.
