OREANDA-NEWS. June 09, 2009. Milli Majlis has passed the Bill on Volunteer Activity.

At today’s plenary session chairman of Parliamentary Social Policy Committee Khadi Rajabli stressed that volunteer activity is conducted by persons on the voluntary, disinterested and liable basis in accordance with own abilities and free time.

“Under the newly-adopted Law, volunteer activity is considered work and can be carried out on the permanent or temporary basis,” Rajabli emphasized.

At the same time entrepreneurship does not relate to volunteer activity. Besides, it does not allow propaganda of war, violence and intolerance and national, racial or religious hostility.
