OREANDA-NEWS. June 09, 2009. Sviaz-Bank acted as paying agent for the Southern Telecommunications Company, Ltd., to pay interest on the fourth coupon of the company’s Series 05 bond issue.

The bondholders were paid coupon interest in full and in time at a rate of 7.55% per annum, or 37 rubles 65 kopecks per security. In all, the Bank paid 75,300,000 rubles. The issuer itself acted as the tax agent.

The Southern Telecommunications Company floated its Series 05 five-year bond issue on June 6, 2007, to raise 2 billion rubles. Sviaz-Bank was the managing underwriter of the issue.
