OREANDA-NEWS. On 09 June 2009 was announced, that the Moscow City Government has approved a draft plan aimed at all-inclusive reconstruction of Novogireevo township in eastern Moscow.

Under the plan, residents of the dwelling houses with the total area of 127,487 square metres located in neighbourhoods 19-26, 40 of Novogireevo to be demolished will be moved into new flats.

The total area of homes to be developed instead of the dilapidated ones will be 236,916 square metres. The new buildings will be provided with parking facilities for 4,376 vehicles.

Besides, it is planned to put up the detached garages with 715 parking places, to erect and realign the social facilities with the total area of 26,000 square metres as well as office buildings and sports objects, to develop the community services, to beautify and landscape the neighbourhoods.

The Moscow Committee for Architecture and Urban Development is in charge of working out parcel plans for the neighbourhoods in Q4 2009 taking into account their layouts.

The development is fully invested from Moscow’s budget funds.
