OREANDA-NEWS. On 08 June 2009 was announced, that shareholders of OJSC “MegaFon” at the annual meeting re-elected the full Board of Directors and elected the Company’s CEO by extending the term of Sergey Soldatenkov.

Re-elected composition of the Board includes Aimo Eloholma, Head of International Business Support TeliaSonera,  Esko Rytkonen, Senior Vice-President TeliaSonera, Tero Kivisaari, President TeliaSonera Eurasia, Teijo Pankko, Chief Financial Officer of LLC “Altimo”, Vladimir Streshinsky, General Director of OJSC “Telecominvest, Vladimir Zhelonkin, General Director of LLC AF “Telecom Holding” and Dmitry Vozianov (currently unemployed, he used to be General Director of LLC “CT-Mobile”).

Shareholders elected Chief Executive Officer of OJSC “MegaFon” by extending the term for Sergey Soldatenkov by 3 years.

At the annual meeting the shareholders also elected the Company’s Management Board. In addition to top-managers of OJSC “MegaFon” the Management Board also includes CEO’s deputies in charge of macro-regions, who will remain General Directors of subsidiaries till the Company’s merger is over.

No decision was taken at the meeting regarding distribution of profit and losses of the Company based on the results of the financial year, including the amount of annual dividend on shares and the procedures for its payment.

Visit of the Moscow metropolitan head to metro station Mjakininskaya construction site

Dmitry Gaev, Head of the Moscow Metropolitan, visited the construction site of the metro station Mjakininskaya in the Crocus City territory. He inspected the site and answered mass media questions.

Mister Gaev has confirmed that the section of the metro line from station Strogino and up to station Mitino will be put into operation by the end of 2009 according to have been scheduled. The construction process goes according to the developed plans. All stations on the new line including Volokolamskaya and Mjakininskaya will be opened simultaneously for boarding and deboarding of passengers.

The second tunnel driving on the section between Strogino and Mjakinino is being completed. After the termination of the driving and the construction of the metro bridge over the Moskva River the works related to ways and all three metro stations facilitation and equipping will start.
